Hello, readers! My name is Gail and I am your editor of Charlotte Happening. Charlotte is a very exciting place to both live and to visit and sometimes it can be hard to keep up. Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) stands in the Piedmont area and is close to the South Carolina border. Named after Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg, the city is nicknamed ‘Queen City’ and today Charlotte is one of America’s most important financial centers, second only to New York. Charlotte features some of the world’s best food, shopping, entertainment and much more! I am very excited to have the opportunity to spread the word about all that is happening in their neighborhood. I have a background in marketing and sales, and I am currently seeking my Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing.
